Project and Portfolio III: Marketing introduces students to intrapreneurship, focusing on how to analyze business challenges and propose innovative solutions within an organization. Students are tasked with developing an internal business proposal and visual presentation, learning to diplomatically present their ideas to peers and decision-makers. In this course, students gain practical experience in creating strategic proposals that align with business goals, preparing them to drive innovation and growth within established companies. For my final proposal, I developed an intrapreneurial business strategy for Nordstrom, recommending the integration of local artisans and designers into their retail model. The proposal aimed to enhance Nordstrom’s customer experience by offering curated, ethically-produced products in dedicated in-store spaces, aligning with consumer trends toward authenticity and sustainability.
