DEMONS OF DISSOLUTION (VIDEO)
In the Storytelling for Marketing course, students are challenged to craft a compelling personal narrative using the Hero's Journey story structure and related concepts covered in the curriculum. This assignment necessitates depicting all 12 stages of the Hero's Journey, with the student themselves as the protagonist. Whether based on real experiences or embellished, the narrative must adhere to the Hero's Journey framework and include factual elements about the student. The video should feature a cohesive narrative arc with a clear beginning, middle, and end, engaging viewers while effectively conveying key elements such as storyline, characters, conflict, and resolution. Through this assignment, I learned the art of crafting a dramatic story that resonates with the audience. By following the Hero's Journey structure, I gained insights into how to build a narrative that unfolds naturally, engaging viewers emotionally and intellectually. This experience not only honed my storytelling skills but also deepened my understanding of narrative structure and character development in marketing contexts. It taught me the importance of pacing, thematic consistency, and narrative impact in effectively communicating personal experiences or messages to a broader audience.
